The shopping for the new season has just begun. Between the change of season and the arrival of winter, countless warm and comfortable garments will fill your wardrobe, first and foremost: the coat.
An essential “product” for creating our looks and protecting us from the winter cold. Let’s take a look at the autumn/winter 2019 trends.
Coats: autumn/winter 2019 trends

If there is one garment that cannot be overlooked, it is the coat, an essential element of an outfit that also serves to protect our bodies from the cold.
This year too, companies and fashion houses have held nothing back, presenting original, on-trend coats full of personality for the contemporary woman.
The choice is truly extensive; among the autumn/winter 2019 trends, we find white and black coats, long puffer jackets, faux fur coats and stylish capes.
Autumn/winter 2019 coats: which ones to choose
Long or short, they always have a certain appeal: we are talking about coats, a must-have to wear for every occasion.
For the autumn/winter season, the long, high-collar coat in light colours is highly fashionable. Elegant and full of charm is the coat with flared sleeves; for lovers of casual style, however, the advice is to opt for simple ankle-length coats.
Some women love to dare even when choosing outerwear; to these women, we recommend faux fur coats, preferably in light colours, as soft shades can enhance this garment and create eye-catching looks.
For those who feel the cold most, and naturally do not want to give up on style, the solution is to opt for puffer jackets, truly warm garments that protect against the harsh winter cold.
Puffer jackets can be elegant too: opt for long styles with refined details, a high collar and flared sleeves.
If, on the other hand, you are looking for something visually striking, the advice is to buy puffer jackets with faux-fur trim. The sportier women will feel at ease choosing puffer jackets with traditional casual-chic lines.
Last but not least is the poncho. Every woman—yes, every woman—should have at least one cape in her wardrobe to add style to any outfit.
Yes to the high-collar poncho, and yes also to warm colours, perfect for the autumn season. If you like a snow queen style, opt for capes in light colours, very light ones such as white or ivory.
If, on the other hand, you are a “traditionalist”, the checked poncho is a must.
As always, I will leave you with my personal selection of trendy coats at the end of this article!
