Floral dresses: the print that is everywhere
If, between a night out with your friends and a session of compulsive shopping you forgot to buy at least one floral-print dress you should be told that you have really missed the mark. But there is a remedy for everything, and today, in this article, I am pointing out some floral-print dresses that absolutely must be yours.
After all, let’s be honest: we are in the midst of a remarkable autumn, still blessed with gentle sunshine and beautiful days, so why not honour it with some wonderful, on-trend floral dresses?
There will be time for black, grey and other monochromatic shades, I promise, but for now, how about dressing in flowers and showing off your autumn look on the city streets?
Autumn 2017 trends: floral dresses
Who said that flowers only bloom in spring? Certainly not me, and neither do the fashion houses and clothing companies. In fact, they were the first to champion this autumn 2017 trend, which highlights flowers through prints on a wide variety of materials. An abundance of flowers, primroses and jasmine to dress a woman who seems to be the direct descendant of Mother Nature.
A graceful look, a little 70s hippie, but one that does not forgo the courtesy and elegance of its silhouettes. These are carefree and utterly feminine outfits that we should all wear at least once, don’t you agree?
The length remains midi or falls below the knee. Sleeves also remain short, helped by the possibility of wearing outerwear suited to the season. The colours are varied: from green to pink, red and blue—and guess what? I even managed to select a black piece, with a floral print, of course.
The floral print appears in an original form on various fabrics: jacquard, satin, silk and cotton. A dress that lends itself to portraying a romantic, dreamy woman who enjoys the beauty of the season she is experiencing.

Floral dresses: the trend-led styles
Rinascimento is always a sure thing. After all, could a brand with this name ever disappoint us when it comes to floral prints? There are several interesting proposals, including midi dresses in satin and georgette tunics, both strictly floral.
Sandro Ferrone offers us an interesting reinterpretation of the floral print, adapting it to the quality standards and elegance that have always represented the company, with a proposal for a black jacquard dress with white flowers.
And then Fracomina, together with Emme Marella, tell us a floral autumn story expressed through shades of red and blue, with highly refined details.
If it is true that a woman is a flower, all that remains is to wear one of these dresses to enhance our figure in the best possible way.
And you, have you already chosen the floral dress you will show off this autumn?
