Summer is not yet over, but for many it is already a distant memory. It's all the fault of the back to work that we all, some before and some after, have had to face. Among the many challenges of this new beginning there is one that most unites us: that of choosing the right looks, practical, comfortable and stylish, to return to work in September. How to do it? Simple: you only need three items to create outfits suitable for the office and for all occasions. Let's discover them together.
3 garments for back to work
Can a few simple garments allow us to create outfits for back to work? The answer is yes, as long as they are the right ones. We have identified three of them, not just any clothes, but real seasonal evergreens that go well with everything and can be worn on any occasion, not just in the office.
We are talking about blazers, shirts and jeans. Garments that, as we well know, need no introduction because they have always accompanied us in our daily lives. But why did we choose them for our back to work? Simple: they are comfortable, versatile and fashionable, they can be used to create practical looks to show off both at work and in our free time. And with a few tricks, they can also help us create elegant and super-feminine outfits to wear, practically, anywhere. Let's see how.
The blazer
The blazer is the mid-season garment par excellence. Less formal than the jacket, this garment allows you to create iconic outfits that are perfectly aligned with the trends of the moment. It is precisely its great popularity, then, that has allowed the birth of so many models capable of creating an infinity of style.
Among this September's must-have models is the blazer in its oversize version. Thanks to its extra wide cut, comfort and convenience are guaranteed everywhere: in the office, running errands and even on public transport.
As far as colours are concerned, we are spoilt for choice, but given the extreme versatility of this garment, we recommend opting for a shade that goes well with everything. Black, for example, but also blue, green and pink. Alternatively, you can already projectyourself towards autumn andlet yourself be inspired by the season's palette: plum, beige and purple are perfect for getting back to work.
Jeans
The other garment that cannot be missing from a woman's wardrobe, and which allows us to create the perfect looks for going back to work in September, is jeans. Practical, comfortable, glamorous and timeless: the denim trouser knows endless variations, all capable of adapting to personal needs, both in terms of style and silhouette. Jeans go with practically everything: with a blazer and shirt, for example, but also with a crop top and sweatshirt. They can be worn at the office or in leisure time, and also for running the usual errands in the city.
Trendy styles include, again, high-waisted jeans that can be mixed and matched in so many ways. For back to work, we recommend the slightly bell-bottomed models, which are perfect with a shirt or blouse, or those with a cigarette cut. Simply pair them with trainers if you are looking for comfort, or high sandals or high-heeled ankle boots if you are looking for a feminine and elegant look.
The Shirt
The last item in our selection, but not least, is the shirt. And how could this timeless garment be missing from back-to-work looks?
Beautiful, comfortable, elegant and formal, if you need it, the shirt can be adapted in every context and combined with practically everything. There are plenty of styles to wear for back to work in September: you'll be spoilt for choice. However, we took a look at the autumn trends and anticipate that this year the classic cut, in its white version, is a real must.
The men's wardrobe-inspired shirt, in fact, has never gone out of fashion and the reason is easily said: it is seductive, elegant and extremely versatile. You can choose the oversized model, or one with a tighter fit, tuck it into high-waisted jeans or drop it over trousers. Opt for a traditional model, or one with details that make a difference, such as precious buttons, for example, or puffed sleeves. When it comes to combinations, however, you are spoilt for choice: the white shirt goes well with everything.
