The sun is shining high in the sky, the wind is now mild, and spring has officially arrived in all our lives. How better to celebrate it than with a wonderful stroll outdoors?
But first, are you sure you have the right outfit for a long spring stroll?

City stroll: what to wear
Let’s start in the city, still crowded but cool enough for a wonderful stroll through the city centre among shops and drinks with friends.
As we have already said, this spring speaks the language of colour, while allowing total-black outfits for those who simply cannot give up black, provided they create a lively mix and match with their accessories.
A fluid, lightweight dress is perfect for a stroll through the city; say yes to floral dresses and patterned prints when it comes to long, flowing styles. If black is troubling you, choose a midi-length dress with a floral print or details that make it unique, such as balloon or ruffled sleeves.
Yes also to denim dresses, as this fabric is an evergreen for every season, but wearing it in spring as an alternative to the usual dark colours can be an excellent way to set black aside, at least for the moment. Remember that light colours are welcome, as is white: a light cotton or linen dress is perfect for your strolls through the city.
Out-of-town stroll: what to wear
It’s spring, and what could be better than leaving the city and going to the lake or mountains for a lunch that’s different from the usual? I’ll tell you: absolutely nothing.
In this case, put the long, flowing dresses aside; the air is cooler outside the city, and it seems like an excellent opportunity to wear a jumpsuit or matching trousers with a blouse.
This year too, jumpsuits are proving to be a glamorous ally for every occasion. You can choose a black jumpsuit, provided you wear colourful accessories, or opt for denim, for the same reason discussed above regarding dresses.
If the jumpsuit does not convince you, I’m sure you will find the right trousers for your day trip. Take a look at the capri style, the defining trend of next season. The alternatives are clear: flared trousers or a slim fit; in both cases, favour the style that best enhances your silhouette.
You will not have to work very hard to achieve the perfect mix and match with an outfit like this; you can in fact pair your chosen trousers with a blouse in a solid colour or a print, and a “spring” result is guaranteed.
