A cosy Christmas: jumpers for winter and beyond

It seems like only yesterday that we were worrying about our back-to-school outfit, and now Christmas is beginning to make an appearance in our everyday lives Christmas. It may seem early, it’s true, but all it takes is stepping outside the front door to realise that Christmas is coming, faster than ever.

Helping to spread the Christmas atmosphere through the streets is the cold weather, not yet excessively harsh but enough to ensure that we have the versatile oversized jumper in our wardrobe to show off at Christmas and beyond.

A cosy Christmas: His Majesty the jumper

No throw or air conditioning can replace a warm jumper, to be worn on the Christmas holidays but throughout the winter too. The truth is that those who feel the cold most are already longing to wear the jumper bought in last winter’s sales right now. And who’s stopping you?

For those who say “I still have time to think about a jumper” however, the time to take action has truly arrived. You surely don’t want to get cold during walks through the city for Christmas shopping?
The time has therefore come to buy the most beautiful jumpers for this winter and beyond.

Winter and Christmas jumpers.

Winter has not yet begun, but with the first cold spell we know that we already feel projected towards this season, helped along by the Christmas atmosphere we have been breathing in for a few days now.
The time has therefore come to go shopping; ideally, opt for clothing to wear at Christmas but also throughout the winter and beyond.
The jumper is in fact an evergreen item that follows no rules. Nothing will stop you from wearing a jumper bought now on cool early spring evenings too, with the exception of jumpers featuring reindeer and snow-covered trees. Perhaps those are best worn only at Christmas.

A cosy Christmas: which jumpers to buy

It wouldn’t be a proper Christmas without at least one red jumper in your wardrobe. Leaving reindeer and fairy-tale landscapes aside, a jumper in this shade is an absolute must. After all, red is this season’s trend colour, so you can wear your red jumper after Christmas too and stay warm in the months to come. Feel free to play with the different shades in the red colour palette —there are no rules here.

High-neck jumpers are most highly recommended for chronic cold sufferers, but also for our friends with weakened immune systems. Surely you don’t want to fall ill right at Christmas and miss the most magical time of the year?

A jumper does not mean being unfashionable. Dressing in comfortable clothing such as a jumper does not mean giving up on style. Fashion houses have always maintained this, and you will have no difficulty finding jumpers to wear for evening looks too.

Practical, everyday, elegant and chic, there is a warm jumper for everyone. I’m sharing my favourites below; all you have to do is choose the one best suited to your style.

Have a cosy Christmas.
