I have already talked about it several times here on the Vestiti Firmati blog, choosing outfits during the summer season is never easy, let alone packing a suitcase in this heat.
But the desire for a holiday is stronger than anything else, and I won't leave you on your own even at this moment, so beautiful yet so stressful and delicate.

Let's start with the sea. Despite the heat and the uncontrollable desire for coolness, the seaside remains the favourite destination for holidaymakers. Could it be the irresistible charm of the water's thousand colours?

The first rule when packing a suitcase for a summer holiday is lightness. I know, I understand that lightness and suitcase are two words that should never appear in the same sentence. But it is summer and you are leaving for a seaside destination, so pack only swimsuits and lightweight clothes.

Speaking of swimsuits, this is something that absolutely must not be missing from your suitcase. Better still, pack two or more, depending on the number of days you will spend at your chosen destination.

Yes to long and short dresses to wear for every occasion. Don't forget the colours: choose white and prints. It is also fine to pack a black dress to save for a romantic dinner or a formal event. The only rule is lightness.

Mountain holidays. What should I wear?

Have you decided to spend a few days in the mountains to escape the sweltering heat of these days? Good choice, dear friends; now you only need to pack your suitcase.

As with any holiday, the first thing to pack is the swimsuit. Of course, you won't enjoy the sea's crystal-clear water, but you can still lie on verdant meadows and sunbathe, or set aside a day of your holiday to go to the swimming pool. Don't tell me you hadn't thought of that.

Long dresses are always a good choice, especially in the evening, during walks along mountain streets; long trousers are also a yes. Never forget a jacket: in some places, the temperature difference between day and night is truly significant. Surely you don't want to fall ill on holiday?
