Autumn is just around the corner. And while some are still enjoying this holiday atmosphere, softened by the arrival of September, it is time to think about the new season ahead: new looks and on-trend outfits await you.
But what are the colours of the coming season? Let’s discover them together and get ready for glamorous, up-to-the-minute shopping!

Autumn 2018: the on-trend colour palette
Unexpected combinations, outfits softened by traditional colours, bold looks distinguished by brilliant hues. The colours of Autumn 2018 surprise us, giving the coming season an extra edge and evoking something of the much-loved spring.
The lilac for example, which so strongly evokes the warm season, will be the colour of Autumn. Designers from all over the world have embraced and appreciated it, proposing tone-on-tone outfits; alternatively, you could choose contrasting garments: lilac and ultraviolet, for example.
If there is one colour that cannot be missing from Autumn, it is undoubtedly Orange: a vitamin-rich, energetic and lively colour. Orange is perfect for creating on-trend mix-and-match combinations with darker tones such as brown or lighter ones such as Havana, cream and beige. This colour truly suits everyone.
Do you remember the bordeaux we loved so much throughout the year? Well, this Autumn bordeaux becomes darker and turns into Red Pear, a more muted, autumnal shade that can be paired with warm brown tones or, for evening outings, with black and denim.
Autumn 2018: how to choose the right colour for you
I admit, the colour palette dedicated to Autumn 2018 particularly surprised me.
These are perfect colours for the coming months, capable of creating outfits suitable both for evenings and social events, and for daytime looks for going to the office or running errands in the city.
The colours lend themselves to combinations of every kind. The boldest can certainly choose shades of purple, creating surprising looks to show off on countless occasions. If, on the other hand, your style embraces tradition, orange and bordeaux will add colour to your autumn, helping you create warm, neutral and always impeccable looks.
All that remains is to let yourself be inspired by my personal selection of autumn-coloured clothing items which you will find at the end of the article. For more fashion advice, I look forward to seeing you, as always, on Friday!
